 It appears that you are using a version of eeebuntu, is that correct? The
 problem you are seeing is that we do not package pidgin for eeebuntu so
 there is no file at that location to fetch. You can either wait for an
 official eeebuntu update, figure out which official version of Ubuntu is
 closest to your version of eeebuntu and try to use that versions pidgin
 package (and hope it works), or build pidgin yourself.
