 This issue still exists in the latest version 2.6.3. I've had this strange
 issue since I've been using Pidgin for years. Strange thing is that some
 Yahoo accounts I've added show up "correctly" without this issue. Others
 ALWAYS show up as "Not on server list" and never show their online status,
 image, etc. I can actually send them IM's, but I always have to mark them
 as "show when offline" in order to get to them in my list of buddies.

 PLEASE get this fixed. It's super annoying. I've also noticed that the
 buddies in my list that have this "Not on server list" issue can't see me
 as online in their IM client (whatever client they're using) either.
