New description:
I have Pidgin 2.6.3. I have my MyspaceIM acct setup in pidgin and it
connects fine, I can send a message and the person gets it but if they
send a message to me I can't get it, even after they type the message and
hit enter, it still says the person is typing. I know this because my wife
is playing on myspace and I am close by and for the fun of it, I sent her
"hey" and she sent me one but I never got it. I did a backtrace, though it
probably won't do much good, but here it is:
{{{
Starting program: /usr/bin/pidgin
[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]
[New Thread 0xb5ec7b70 (LWP 4573)]
[New Thread 0xb56c6b70 (LWP 4574)]
[Thread 0xb5ec7b70 (LWP 4573) exited]
[Thread 0xb56c6b70 (LWP 4574) exited]
}}}

Comment:
So the problem here is that you aren't getting any MySpace messages at
all? Can you get the output from the Help->Debug Window for when you
should be getting the message and aren't?
