Comment:

 You would open the Help->Debug Window and wait until the issue reproduces
 itself, at which point you would grab the debug window output from when it
 occurs (ideally from before the first message fails to send until after
 the second message is sent and both show up).

 Are you perhaps hitting ctrl-enter instead of enter and simply adding a
 newline (thus hiding the first line you typed)?
