#10787: AVG is reporting that the icon cache is a .jpeg virus exploit

AVG has been constantly telling me that all the icons in the Owner >
Appdata > Roaming > .purple > icons folder may be infected by an unknown
virus because the .jpegs have an opening that might mean they're infected
 by a virus.

I delete the files but AVG won't stop bugging me!
I have a feeling that this "Opening" is so when somebody changes their
icon the file changes instead of downloading an entire separate file.

If this isn't the case, and I do have some sort of virus, is there a way
 to disable icon downloading?

 I'm running Windows 7 home premium 64-bit.
