Comment:

 This doesn't provide me with the actual packet capture. This only
 specifies what packets were transmitted, there are no details of what was
 contained in those packets. I need them to be able to fix this bug.

 Run the following command as root, "tcpdump -i <interface> -s0 -w <file-
 name>", replace the <interface> with whatever interface you are capturing
 on, and provide a filename for <file-name>.
 Now from Pidgin start debugging, then login into your account, reproduce
 the error.
 Save debug window contents, quit tcpdump. There will be a file with the
 file-name you specified, attach to this ticket that file and the debug
 log.
