 I cannot reproduce this at the present time.
 The issue was occurring like the following:
 Talk to a specific contact on msn. He normally uses live messenger.
 Observer that when he is offline i cannot seem to message him.

 Then after talking to him, when he is on e-buddy and goes offline, pidgin
 crashes after attempts to message this particular contact.

 This may be fixed by 8155. I am not able to reproduce this reliably at the
 present time though, so i cannot confirm this...
