 I'm currently on 2.6.3 (Ubuntu 9.10). It's been happening to me for the
 past week and whenever I set my friendly name to "yo2boy | imma firin mah
 lazor" or something, it automatically resets itself to "yo2boy". I've been
 constantly changing it back but it doesn't work after I restart the
 client.
