 Hello,

 I have never had the problem reported in this Ticket, until I install
 pidgin V2.6.4. Until now I had used every new Pidgin version which is
 released and only with the last one (V2.6.4) I have this problem.

 NOTE that I am behind a corporate firewall.

 So I perform some file compare between old Pidgin version files (V2.6.3)
 and new Pidgin version files (V2.6.4) and I found out a solution of this
 problem which worked for me. The idea is to modify setting for ICQ account
 stored in "accounts.xml" file.

 This file is located in MS Windows at the following location:
 <drive letter>:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application
 Data\.purple\

 I have attached two files (the second one is attached two times by
 mistake):
     1. Original "accounts.xml" generated by Pidgin V2.6.4
     2. Modified "accounts.xml" file generated by Pidgin V2.6.3 where
 connection to my ICQ account works fine.

 So the section for setting of ICQ in "accounts.xml" must looks like the
 second file and I was able to connect to my ICQ accoun using the last
 Pidgin version (V2.6.4)
