 I can affirm this. Today one of my buddys reported I'd be shown as
 offline. I noticed this earlier this week when one of my buddys was only
 visible with his gfire (xfire) account although he was also available with
 his oscar protocols.

 There are other users complaining about it in some of the pidgin forums.
