 This issue is caused by a third party plugin.  We have no control over
 these plugins.  Please report this problem to the authors of this third
 party plugin.[[BR]]The notifications are triggered by a third party plugin
 (most likely either a libnotify plugin or guifications).  I believe ubuntu
 enables the libnotify plugin by default.

 You may be able to configure the plugin to do what you want, otherwise
 you'll have to suggest this to the plugin maintainer.
