 I can confirm the problem exists and is Vista specific. I have Pidgin
 running on 4 different machines: 2 with Windows XP 32-bit - Pidgin is rock
 solid - and 2 with Vista Home Premium 64-bit, on which Pidgin freezes as
 if it was made by Microsoft.

 It will freeze on:

 * reconnect: only if connection is lost, I haven't seen freezes if I
 manually disable and reenable user account for Gadu-Gadu protocol. Note: I
 have tried only couple of times, so I might have gotten lucky.

 * connect after restarting Pidgin after it has frozen (app killed via tast
 manager & started again).

 Problem is intermittent in both cases, but fairly frequent: Pidgin will
 freeze on ~40-60% of restarts and every 3-6 hours of normal use.

 The problem is there at least since I have started using Pidgin, that is
 since version 2.0.1 and haven't been fixed since.

 I am installing debug version, so I can provide debug info.
