 Recently I've noticed that the blocking feature no longer works on AIM. It
 appears to work on other protocols, but never on AIM. The formerly blocked
 buddies can contact me, and I can contact them, and most importantly, they
 can see me online.

 The only way I've found to fix it thus far is to log onto AIM using my
 phone, then log onto Pidgin, and close the session on my phone.  It is
 only in this situation can I keep people blocked.

 I've tried it on both Windows XP and on Windows 7 with the same effect.
 I'm currently running 2.2.0, but I've tried it on multiple versions of
 Pidgin, all to the same effect.
