#10562: impossible to add new icq contacts using their uin

 with pidgin 2.6.2 and 2.6.3 i have the following problem.

 when i want to add a buddy, i select icq account and copy his uin into the
 username field and click add.

 then it tells me : the username has to be a valid email address or start
 with a letter.

 what is this? uins have always been just numbers.
