 Hello folks,

I'm dealing with an obfuscating problem in Pidgin 2.6.3 on my ICQ account,
which seems that it only affects to contacts that I recently added. When I
add a new contact to my ICQ account, its first blocked with the block-icon
 - that's the normal behavor. But if I want to remove the block-icon, I'm
 always getting the error message

"Unable to add the buddy <ICQ Number> for an unknown reason."

The problem occurs only at buddies I added recently added. Older contacts
which are in my contact list for years can be blocked or unblocked without
 any problems.

The most obfuscating thing is, that all these people I can't unblock tell
me that they can't see my online status. I'm not invisible, normal online
status. They even tell me, that my status still is shown as "offline" when
 I'm interacting with them.

This is a very ofuscating behavior. In normal ICQ, everything runs fine.

 My system configuration:

 + Arch Linux (up-to-date!)
 + Enlightenment E17
+ Pidgin 2.6.3 with one Jabber and one ICQ account

I searched for this error message, but it seems that nobody had this
before in this context. Can you tell me some ways to trace/debug this?

 Thanks!
