When I try to paste the attached text (in which I am babbling in hungarian
about how linux pipes work with stderr and stdout :) ), then winpidgin
freezes with 100%cpu usage on one core...
If I paste the text to any contact (MSN and ICQ and GTALK tested), then
nothing bad happens ... Then I press ctrl+shift+home to select the whole
text, press ctrl+x and then ctrl+v - and then pidgin the conversation
window looks strange, and pidgin freezes...
I Couldn't make call stack with the windows-debug version, because pidgin
doesn't crash, it just uses 100%cpu :S
The last debug entries in the debug.log file if I pipe the debuglog to a
file:
(00:56:29) prefs: /pidgin/conversations/toolbar/wide changed, scheduling
save.

(00:56:29) wpurple: This version of user32 contains GetMonitorInfoA
(00:56:29) win32placement: Working Area RECT: L:0 R:1280 T:23 B:741
See attached files for details...

Zsolt
ps> actually, I just tested... pasting the following text also freezes
pidgin (paste - nothing happens. then select all, cut and paste - pidgin
freezes)
