 I spent the summer in Ireland, but am back in New York now. On select
 screen names (I use aim on Pidgin), the "logged in" time displays the date
 then a time 5 hours in the future.  For example, it is currently 3:29pm on
 September 1.  When I drag my mouse over one of my buddy's screen names, it
 displays:
 Logged in: 9/1/2009 8:08:21pm
 Status: Away

 However, 8:08:21pm hasn't happened yet in Eastern Standard Time.  This
 problem does not happen for all my buddies as others simply, for example,
 display: Logged in: 11 hour, 2 minutes.
