 Hi Maiku,

 A small update. I managed to install ubuntu 9.04 on my laptop and also
 pidgin 2.6.1 from the pidgin-developers ppa. On ubuntu, i notice that
 pidgin doesnt crash on incoming video call from gmail as I had mentioned
 in my original bugreport. However as mentioned in (closed) ticket #10043
 it stays at call in progress and no sound/video. This issue has been fixed
 as I see in the ticket #10043

 So, coming back to my original bugreport, I think it may be a problem with
 the gstreamer on fedora 11. The only difference between my fedora 11 and
 ubuntu 9.04 setups is the versions of gstreamer-plugins-bad . I will try
 to get hold of an older version of these plugins on fedora 11 if possible
 and report back.

 As for testing pidgin-to-pidgin calling further, I havent been able to get
 in touch with another linux+pidgin user. But I will get another laptop
 soon so I can install linux from test there.
