 Actually, it does cover "-nd":  If the arg begins with a single "-", then
 it will check for a 'd' anywhere within the arg.  If the arg begins with a
 double "--", then it requires that the "--debug" come at the beginning of
 the arg.

 And yes, thank you QuLogic, those are supposed to be strstr's.  I did too
 much copy/pasting :)
