 I'm using Pidgin 2.6.1 on Ubuntu Jaunty with the latest updates.

 When I receive a message from someone on Yahoo or MSN, Pidgin doesn't play
 any sound. Even buddy pounces that play sounds don't work with Yahoo and
 MSN. Sounds play when I receive a message from any other network, as
 usual.

 I've also filed this bug at Launchpad:
 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pidgin/+bug/382661. I originally
 thought that it only affected Yahoo, but it's the same in MSN.
