I tried that with Pidgin 2.6.2, I don't seem to be able to reproduce the
bug, status change works fine for me.

I forget to change the status it doesn't update. It remains Available
until I change it even if the detection of the real IP ended hours ago.

Can you clarify how STUN/TURN server selections are affecting the status
change. These servers have no relation to status change. Is it possible
that inability to change status is because of some other reason, other
than your selections for STUN/TURN.
