Comment:

 OK - Found it.
 This is problematic plug-in:

 C:\Program Files\Pidgin\plugins\colorize.dll
 It is part from the "Purple Plugin Pack". Upgrading it to the last (2.60)
 version didn't help. I disabled the plug-in and all is OK now.

 Still strange that the problem is only in Jabber.. :)
