 Hello again.

 I've tested a view things. Had the third party plugin MusicInfo 1.4 in
 use.
 It created the following status information in accounts.xml:

 {{{
 <status type='available' name='Verfügbar' active='true'>
 <attributes>
 <attribute id='message' value='Now Playing: [Saltatio Mortis - Zeit -
 Winamp &#x3;&#x18;í&quot]'/>
 </attributes>
 </status>
 }}}

 So I deleted the ''&#x3;&#x18;í&quot'' in the entire file (about 4 or 5
 entries) and try again to run pidgin. Successful.

 So you're allright, there were bogus informations in the file.
