 For me, this error appears sporadically in the last week or so, and just
 caught my attention in the last day or so (after a friend told me). I got
 it confirmed by 2 other friends. Since my friends are not using pidgin,
 it's very difficult to send any debugging report from their side.

 In addition to that, when I sent a message, seldom it showed in the debug
 window that no ack appears (it stopped after the message and the timestamp
 were sent) and pidgin showed no error whatsoever, even after the http
 connection is closed.
