 Oh, and to reproduce this...  Message yourself on an AIM account making
 sure to either have a background color enabled by default or setting one
 for that particular message, and then copy/paste the resulting message
 from the chat window back into the reply window and send it again.

 It may also be worth noting that for as long as this has been occurring, I
 have not been able to see background color on incoming text(Text styling
 such as font and bolding still occur though).
