 Although ticket 9976 is marked as "fixed in 2.6.2", i've installed this
 version and i cannot connect to the server (the certificate is self-signed
 and expired). From ticket 9976 i understand that there should be a prompt
 to allow installing the invalid certificate, but there is not. All i get
 is "SSL peer presented an invalid certificate". I've now reverted to
 Pidgin 2.4.3 and it works.

 I've attached a log of the connection attempt (from which I've removed
 some names), maybe my problem is different than 9976.
