bug in it. :)
Let me put it this way:
The Audio Mixer uses the icon that shows up on the top-left of the
windows, at it's largest(I think) form. Most icons retain a small enough
size, including the default Pidgin logged on/off/away/etc icons, that it
easily migrates to things like Audio Mixer. In the case of it changing to
the Avatar of the person you are talking to, the picture is automatically
re-sized for the top-left window icon, but the actual size does not
change. This makes it a problem for other things such as the Audio mixer.
If you were to take the avatar and have it re-sized to the correct icon
size, then this would eliminate the issue.
This means, to me at least, that it is the fault of Pidgin, not windows.
Both sides can fix the problem, but what I meant by saying "Well,
considering Audio Mixer is built in to Microsoft Windows..." is that
Microsoft is extremely unlikely to fix this sort of issue(considering who
they are), when it only effects a few if any other programs. Pidgin on the
other hand, is obviously more likely to read my claim and at least take
note that the problem exists.
