 I'm running the Windows client for Pidgin 2.6.2.  Using the standard Yahoo
 client, I am able to sign in to Yahoo without a problem.  However, using
 when I try to connect using pidgin, I get the error message: "Unable to
 connect to login.yahoo.com: SSL Connection Failed"

 Running Pidgin, I have left the configurations all as defaults, except for
 proxy.  Under proxy, I have selected Proxy type HTTP, entered my proxy
 settings and tried to log in.

 The debug shows that pidgin initially uses the proxy configuration to
 connect to scsa.msg.yahoo.com:5050.  However, further down, it reports

 (10:03:06) proxy: Connecting to login.yahoo.com:443 with no proxy

 I'm using a standard squid proxy here, it should be using the proxy
 outbound.  Pidgin seems to be ignoring the proxy configuration I have
 manually entered.

 I will be attaching the debug output to this ticket.
