Comment:

 If you open the Service Discovery plugin and perform service discovery on
 the domain hosting the facebook plugin, when you select it and click
 'Register', there should be an option in the resultant dialog to
 Unsubscribe (ideally the button would change to say 'Change Registration'.
 That's on my TODO list)

 This will not clean up any of the buddies in your buddy list from the
 transport (which is something I'd also like to happen, although it's a
 little more finicky), so you'll need to remove them all by hand.
