 I have attached the debug log.  The buddy still appears fine on messenger
 available via Yahoo Mail, but looking at the actual "Web Messenger",
 http://webmessenger.yahoo.com/, the person does NOT appear there either.
 Hmm.

 Somehow, adding a user from "messenger inside Y! Mail" is different from
 adding them via the actual "Messenger" application.
