 This just happened (in fact is happening as write -- I have not yet killed
 it).  One thing to note is that pidgin consumes an entire core while this
 is happening.

 I can't really come to a conclusion as to what's causing this as I am not
 doing anything in particular when this starts happening.

 I will attach the stacktrace from this occurrence.
