 I obviously can't reproduce this in Linux (because the "file in use" error
 only happens in Windows), but I don't see any open files in valgrind when
 Pidgin exits.  I guess it's still possible that we keep the file open
 while the program is running, but then close it at exit (but that seems
 weird).
