 A friend is trying to send me a file via IRC, where I am using the Pidgin
 IRC client interface. The Nightstar network which I am on has a safety
 protocol in place where I must type /DCCALLOW +USERNAME to be able to
 receive files. I'm supposed to be able to get more information with
 /DCCALLOW HELP. However, Pidgin returns "unknown command" for /DCCALLOW
 followed by anything. One of the operators on Nightstar helped me partly
 work around this by having me type instead /QUOTE DCCALLOW HELP, which
 produced messages in the debug window. I then typed /QUOTE DCCALLOW
 +USERNAME and got more stuff in the debug window, but was still unable to
 receive a file, although with different error message. Please help me so
 that I can receive files by IRC.
