#11652: How to avoid new tickets like #11648

Apparently once a support ticket is closed, there's no way to have any
sort of dialog with the support team. I strongly dislike having to open a
new support ticket just to make these comments.
My ticket 11648 had to do with an AIM error; searches on the site did not
turn up the same error. I received a curt reply to look at the message on
the home page.
That the message on the home page isn't accomplishing its purpose, and
I'll tell you why:
Where it is, below the Pidgin logo and download button, that message just
looks like descriptive text about Pidgin. It is extremely easy to
overlook.
The user's eye is not drawn down to that corner, it's drawn to all the
other more interesting things higher up on the page. I suggest moving the
message and/or making it look different.
For example, put a 'caution' icon next to the text (yellow triangle with
an exclamation point) and draw a box around the icon and text together.
That would add graphic elements to draw the eye and make the message stand
out as something that needs to be noticed.
The same message should also be easily found (i.e., not buried in a page
full of similar text) in a location where people expect to look for help
information.
Please consider making these small changes to put that message text to
work for you.
