 unfortunately your suggested solution doesn't really work for me; i do
 have facebook side "groups" / lists, however, i want some of them to
 appear in my main buddy group in pidgin (which has all other services
 combined) and some of them should stay in the fb group.

 i'd appreciate it if you could update this ticket should anything change
 about this in the future..
