 When you add a new group and you don't have "show empty groups" checked
 the group doesn't appear. This is pretty irritating, especially for first-
 time-users.

 Proposed solutions:
 a) Make "show empty groups" to be checked by default
 b) Make newly created groups appear, even when you have "show empty
 groups" unchecked. (creates inconsistency in the UI, not so good)
