Comment:

 A few things:
    1. You shouldn't set the Connect Server to an IP unless it's really
 needed
    2. You definitely shouldn't set an IP address as the File Transfer
 Proxies (it's for third-party proxies, not for specifying your own IP)
    3. libpurple /is/ detecting and advertising all the local IPs on your
 system, see this:
