Comment:

 The problem is that it's requesting the SAME buddy's icon 1500 times over
 the course of 6 minutes.  I haven't seen it happen recently, but then
 again I haven't been paying attention.  I'll look for it to happen again
 and try to find out as much information about the other buddy as possible
 (what client they use, if they have an icon, the actual icon itself if i
 can get it, etc) to assist with the debugging.
