 I setup manually range of ports to listen on in "Preference->Network".
 I've open they in my firewall. These ports are used for file transfers for
 example.
 But by voice calls via XMPP pidgin trys to open any other ports, not from
 this range. Therefore, it does not work without upnp.
 I think it would be helpful to use ports from "preference->network" for
 voice and video connection also.
