Comment:

 The icon is not missing, it is present (embedded in the `pidgin.exe`
 executable).

 You can try reinstalling in case something is corrupted on your system.

 The other possibility is that your Windows icon cache is corrupted. See

 search] for instructions on how to rebuild it.
