 I think it would be easy to do, It can be done as an unnoficial plugin.

 I have no skills to do it, so I'll post the documentation I found
 researching.

 First tuenti chat works using XMPP, and you can actually connect with
 pidgin, but each time you connect you have to fetch the password loging in
 and watching the page source code where the data is. (see image

 Pidgin works with the following settings:

 Basic Tab: http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/7407/basic.png

 So, basically the plugin would consist on:

 Log-in on tuenti: Using the given email on the username field when setting
 the account and using the real password

 Fetch data on first image

 Use it to log-in on the chat

 Logout on tuenti (pidgin will keep the connection, so logout is safe)

 I found two non-official apis for tuenti, one in python and the other one
 in php.

 I don't know if they will help, but I post them anyway.

 With the plugin people wouldn't need to log-in and fetch the data manually
 (the bad thing is the password, it changes ech time).
