 Just went to check my password by logging into hotmail website (or
 live.com whatever it is now). Now last week, I was able to to login to
 email just fine, (but not messenger) but tonight I just got a message
 about my account being blocked (possibly for spamming no less), so I guess
 this is the root of the problem. I don't quite understand how I was able
 to intermittently log in to msn messenger last week  or why the official
 client did work when I tried it, but in any event it looks like I have to
 contact support to get it unblocked.
