 I noticed this in 2.7.1 originally and it's occurring through 2.7.3, and
 if I recall correctly this worked fine in 2.6.x.

 I leave Pidgin signed in at night, but I always manually set my status to
 Sleeping, or something of the sort so I'm away on all of my protocols.
 When I check back in the morning, I'll see that someone IMed me and they
 were auto-replied with my idle status instead of my manually set status.

 I have my idle settings to report "Based on keyboard or mouse use" and
 after 10 minutes.
