Comment:

 Improvements to those pages are certainly welcome and it is a wiki, so
 anyone willing and able can do so.  In fact, those pages are more complete
 and up to date than I thought.

 The easiest way to start to figure out how stuff works is to look at one
 of the large number of existing plugins as examples.

 If you see gaps in the wiki documentation, once you figure stuff out,
 please update it.
