 When in a conversation with someone appearing offline (on MSN), I have had
 a problem of a message back log. Where for example if I have sent 10
 messages, 6 would go through, and the 7th would not till I have sent an
 11th message.

 This has also happened when sending messages over AIM. The recipient was
 on a mobile device at the time, not sure if this is relevant.

 The issue has only occured recently, I have not had any problems with
 offline messaging in the past.
