 Blocking has never worked for me with any version of Pidgin (including the
 latest) on Windows or in Ubuntu. I've tried multiple accounts across ICQ
 and AIM but with no success. I've consigned a year or so ago it's just one
 of those things to live with broken. From the client side, I don't have
 many options to change to troubleshoot.
