 I attempted to load up Pidgin and it opened a small window about the 2/3
 size of a sticky note and proceeded to do nothing. When I select the
 window, I am told that it does not respond. If I look at the icon next to
 the clock, it does show my previous status message and show me as logged
 in even though I don't save my password. Additionally, Pidgin consumes 50%
 CPU while it is "thinking".

 One thing to note was that it had been keeping my status message on
 restart even though I selected otherwise.

 I was running only the standard plugins and guifications (Vista Light
 theme). I uninstalled guifications first, then pidgin and then tried
 reinstalling Pidgin first. Still no luck.

 Win XP Pro SP3. I only use Pidgin on this machine for AIM. I haven't added
 any new software.

 I checked my .purple folder and am unable to find a bug report file. But
 the only way it closes is through the program not responding option - it
 does not crash.

 I will be leaving it running today at work to see if it works itself out
 but I doubt it will.
