 Seems to be the same problem for me... Version 2.7.3 under CentOS. The
 blocking list sucks. If I change the option in security to "allow only the
 users on my buddy list" and restart pidgin or restart my workstation some
 days after, the option is changed to "accept only the users bellow" with
 all my buddies. Sometimes I've the "whitelist" with the blocked buddies
 instead of the authorized ones... Sometimes I got a "system error, buddy
 is probably blocked" when I'm sending a message to a non-blocked buddy...
 To solve this case I've to block/unblock it. But sometimes it's not
 enough...

 If you need debugging or whatever infos, tell me how and I will try to
 produce it for you.
