 I think there's one case here that's an expected failure--the remote login
 after locking the workstation.  GTK+ has issues switching from console to
 RDP or from RDP to console.  I also recall someone saying that Pidgin is
 unbearably slow in an RDP session to begin with (which we believed was
 also GTK+ related).
