Comment:

 Adding Ivan to the cc list.  As far as I know all ICQ encoding issues have
 been fixed.  That is to say, Pidgin behaves in a way that is 100%
 compatible with official ICQ clients, and as compatible as possible with
 3rd party clients while not breaking compatibility with the official
 client.

 If people still encounter problems I suspect it's the fault of the other
 client.  But feel free to post specific problems, and include information
 about what client the other person was using.
